Terms and Conditions, the way I see it:

(To the nice and reasonable: The following rant is not for you, so, please, cover your eyes.) For the aspiring pirate:  Yea, the T&C yada, yada, yada… is a necessary nuisance for more reasons than one. In this case it means: Don’t steal, cheat or ask for free stuff unless your life depends on it. And yes, I mean the content of this, and other websites alike. You know, behind every piece of content online: image or video, there are people working their asses off to create it. It’s not free stuff ready to be downloaded because its designer(s) is(are) dumb enough to post it on the “Internet” (readit with air-quotes and a slight grin). So, unless you plan to somehow compensate or give credit for the art(/shit) making your life a little bit easier or more pleasant, don’t rip off! And do the not-stealing not because you think (I don’t, but you might) that there is a man in the sky watching you, but because it’s the wrong thing to do… Oh, and, yes, if you’ll do it regardless, you heard it here and can quote me on it: You will end up robbed, cheated and working for free yourself… You don’t have to believe me on this. No. Just read about the (newly discovered, I swear!) genetic advantage offered by empathy, a.k.a. “just being nice to the one next to you”, that translates into: Kind people survive – mean ones don’t. That’s how I read that scientific piece of news anyway, even though the article actually refers to genes being the ones that do the “surviving” thingy. As for the ones on the other side of the infringement argument – the Litigators! a.k.a. the Copyright Trolls – this one is for you: Trying to take advantage of the “derivative-work” loopholes in the copyright law, doesn’t make you the heroes of the punish-the-Internet-rip-off justice. You are not better than the thieves you’re whining/screaming about. You steal intellectual property just the same – you’re just better equipped to do it legally, and are actually worse at taking advantage of a poor soul with a brilliant idea. And guess what? Those “rides, rags and stones” acquired with the money owed to the rightful artist: They won’t last. And, again, it’s not the man in the sky that’ll end it for you, but your own greed and uselessness in the bigger picture of life. Don’t believe me? Switch on Discovery ID. Lastly, for anyone offended by what I wrote. (Once again, this is a disclosure, and, once again, I’m invoking my “freedom of speech/expression”.) If the above sounds harsh it’s because you decided to read the T&C part of this website to its end. Normally, people don’t. What did you expect to find here anyway? If you belive the above is judgmental – I warned you upfront. Not that I need an excuse – I meant what I wrote – but I am just frustrated by the amount of useless loops I have to jump periodically – from both the ends of the copyright argument – just to finish stuff off… Good Night!
