]]> The first trailer for “Roswell Revisited” is now posted on YouTube. This is the story I’m writing and animating together with Adrian. It’s entirely CG – some motion graphics used are already sold on microstock websites. The trailer is done entirely “in-house” – in 3DS MAX and AfterEffects – using our models and stock sound FX. “Roswell Revisited” was initially posted on Vimeo for the Weekend Project competition. It did not win but we had a blast with good, encouraging comments from videographers. If you enjoy sci-fi with a funny twist, and have 2 minutes to spare, please view and comment – link below.

]]> My first flash-fiction story is ePublished at Lulu.com 

For the ones not familiar, flash fiction generally has less than 1000 words. In this case this story is 600 words and was submitted as an entry in the November short story contest (some use the term micro-publishing) on Lulu.com, a self-publishing website.

The story, titled “Roswell Revisited” is a comic approach from a novel perspective on one of the first (and famous) conspiracy theories: the UFO incident that took place in 1947 in Roswell, NM. The story itself is a prelude to one of our short movies, currently in works, that we hope to release on YouTube this December. It also ties into one of our 2012 projects, a website designed to showcase sci-fi imagery and writings.

Our project is in development under the working name “Tomorrow” and will cater to fans of classic science fiction, social fiction and futurists. It will be opened to artists interested in speculating in their art about the future: from spaceships and alien encounters to our mind’s infinite capability to reinvent the world of tomorrow.

Dreamstime surprised us with our first Extended Licence sell ! ( 50% of the typ. $250 is contributor’s share). An EL sell means the buyer purchased the exclusive rights to use it and we have to withdraw the image from every microstock website we sell it, including Dreamstime. This means we can no longer insert a preview (to visually brag about) this image on our web. Instead we can show you similar images (Namib Desert theme) sold unexpectedly well in recent weeks on microstock sites, including Dreamstime.
